This time good news came from Bulgaria. Four songs by Boris Kovac's, author published by Rolf Budde Musikverlag, has been used in Bulgarian documentary "The Last Black Sea Pirates" directed by Svetoslav Stoyanov and Vanya Raynova (Poslednite Chernomorski Pirati).

The documentary finally made its Bulgarian premiere on 11 March 2014 at Sofia Film Fest, however the film already had its world premiere in 2013 at Visions du Reel Festival in Nyon, Switzerland and HotDocs in Toronto, Canada.

"This is a modern pirate story complete with a captain, a mutinous crew of outlaws, a princess, her wedding dress and untold riches. The Last Black Sea Pirates swim in testosterone and rugged tenderness in a land of wilderness and legends, far from civilization. According to the legend, Vulchan, a 19th-century gypsy pirate, attacked three convoys laden with gold. He robbed them, sunk them and hid the treasure by the coast.  For 20 years, Captain Jack The Whale and his crew have been drinking, dreaming and hunting for the treasure buried in the gulf of Karadere, the pristine beach they call home.
But someone else has got wind of Karadere’s treasures, the brother of the Bulgarian Prime Minister announces plans to build a new mega tourist resort by the Black Sea. When news of imminent change begin to find its way to this remote oasis, the pirates' world begins to unravel. Doubts erode the foundations of trust, conflicts brew, tensions are on the rise.
In this crisis, emerges a contemporary fairy tale about the treasures we hunt and those that we find."
