Exhibition of graphic arts from the collection of Marc Chagall was showed in Wrocław as a part of the project: “The European Capital of Culture Wrocław 2016”


The exhibition is a display of graphic works by Marc Chagall presented against the European avant-garde of the 20th century: Braque, Calder, Giacometti, Leger, Masson, Mattisse, Miro, Picasso, Riopelle, Tapies, and Ubac. “Marc Chagall and the European avant-garde artists” exhibition is formed by a selection of works from the Marc Chagall Museum in Vitebsk, Belarus, a city where the artist was born and which was present in his works as a memory throughout all his life.
It is promoted by the favorite song of Marc Chagall and his wife – “Mazel” written by: Molly Micon and Abraham Ellstein
