Schubert Music Publishing welcomes KC Nwokoye

We are happy to let you know that Schubert music has signed agreement with KC Nwokoye - singer-songwriter originally from Nigeria,  currently based in Poland. His music is a perfect mix of sensitive, intimate song writing infused with ethnic melodies that make for blissful listening.

There's a story in every song.  His mastery of seamlessly adapting various genre while maintaining an identity of Ethnic Soulful Rhythms with elements of sophisticate-Pop, Jazz and Funk makes him a compelling Artist to experience. In 2010, the Soul singer composed, wrote and self produced his début Extended Play "Matters of the Heart" which can be found on iTunes and CD baby. The record has received high praise and critical acclaim from affiliated European Music Academy and the African Contemporary Music Community here in Poland. It showcases KC's writing skills and ability to incorporate beautiful melodies in compositions that also narrates a story. Songs like "Yesterday" and "Let's Get Away" is a resounding example of magical story telling that warms your spirits. In 2012 KC voiced one of the sound tracks for the hit film "YUMA" which was released across theaters in Poland and internationally. In the same year he collaborated with Dance/House producer in composing several songs to include "Free", "Higher and "Stay Tonight" to mention a few. KC recently performed his lead single "Caroline" off his upcoming album SHINE on "Dzien Dobry" TVN . The album "SHINE" is a fully developed record that craftily tailors music as it should be and poignantly reveals KC's powerful composition and song-writing abilities. The album includes powerful performances in songs like "Caroline" while also introducing us to an Artist who has a uniqueness that is deeply rooted in his rich story telling and ethnic vocals that warms right through.
