After almost 40 years of band history, the time is ripe for a very special project: the re-recording of the greatest and most important hits along with newly created songs in a grandiose orchestral arrangement with the unique voice of the bandโs lead singer, Marian Gold.
The double album released by the label EDEL Neue Meister (under license of Schubert Music Europe) entered the German Album Charts last week on #2, which is the highest chart entry of any Alphaville album ever! It has also reached #4 of the US Billboard Classical Crossover Charts this week.
For the production, the ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐น๐บ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด could be won, which is the perfect musical partner for the project with their great experience between pop, film and classical music.
A tour of major concert halls in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is planned for spring 2023. First Venues have been sold out already.
