International Divine Comedy Theatre Festival is the most important theater festival in Europe – the festival in Krakow, which lasted 9 days, this year again provided extraordinary artistic impressions, theatrical emotions and was a place of many interesting discussions. Each year nine of the most widely discussed plays of the last season compete for the Polish Inferno Competition awards in ten categories.
We are pleased to announce that Waclaw Zimpel has been awarded the main prize in one of the categories – MUSIC CREATED LIVE, for his music in “My Brilliant Friend” play.
As justified by the jury, Waclaw Zimpel has been awarded the prize “for creating compositions that provide an evocative backdrop to the scenic events, while at the same time being a powerful enrichment of the characters and the drama of the story.”
