The Sirens of Titan began life as an audio-visual project dreamed into being by freewheeling creative spirit, novelist and editor John-Paul Pryor, (former front-man of explosive noughties avant-rockers The Lancaster Bombers) and the producer and multi-instrumentalist Jez Leather.

The band’s first and more acoustic-led offering “Apocalypse Sessions” was recorded in a series of live sessions back in 2017, and was intended as a riposte to contemporary overproduction – some people seemed to like it, with Dazed notably describing it as “a Lynchian underworld that takes it cues from the likes of Elliot Smith”, and some seemed far less impressed, with Musik Review comparing it unfavorably to “the drug-shattered work of Syd Barrett”.

In 2023 “Age Of Treason” – follow up album – was well received critically, with Rolling Stone describing the record as “A blues-inspired psychedelic treasure trove with highly poetic lyrics” and the famed music journalist Jeremy Allen calling it a “a swaggering Neve-desk produced opus that provides a vicarious sonic rush when placed on the stereo”.

In September of this year, The Sirens of Titan are releasing their third record, “Lost Kingdom”, which takes them into heavier, and sometimes more experimental territory. The song “Days Of The Wild Summer” allows a first glimpse and is out today, June 27th, 2025, digitally via The Orchard.
