The upcoming 18th studio album “Rübezahls Rückkehr” by legendary German artist and singer Joachim Witt will be released on April 3rd 2020 via his own label Ventil as part of the newly launched, international label structure of Schubert Music Europe in the worldwide distribution of The Orchard.
In addition, Witt will be playing a big tour of Germany, where he presents the new material with his band to support the release. So far there are concerts planned in 11 cities, additional festival shows in summer 2020 will be announced shortly.
Joachim Witt, his manager Eric Burton (Celsius Management, General Manager) and Thomas Thyssen (Schubert Music Agency, Managing Director / Schubert Music Europe, Head of Recorded Music) met in Berlin to toast the signing of the contract, the upcoming album and the tour.
“Joachim Witt is an extremely versatile artist who, in addition to great successes such as ‘Der Goldene Reiter’ and ‘Die Flut’, has always remained musically relevant and has reinvented himself over and over again,” said Burton. Thyssen announced, “we are proud to be able to work more closely than ever with the legend himself, Joachim Witt, on his upcoming album ‘Rübezahls Rückkehr’.”
