La Féline is a progressive pop project (named after Jacques Tourneur’s 1942 movie), led by singer and guitarist Agnès Gayraud. She is also one of the figurehead of the French pop activists’ movement La Souterraine. Singing in French, her byzantine lyrics ring in your head long after hearing them and bring together her singular pop songwriting and Baudelaire, church singing, 80’s, pop and deep thoughts.
Her last album ‘Triomphe’ has been acclaimed by French and UK press, showing her as a key songwriter of modern French pop.
