Boyana founded the Bulgarian subsidiary of Schubert Music Publishing in 2004. Beforejoining the Schubert Music Publishing team she worked for a number of law firms and also for the Bulgarian licensees of Universal Music Publishing and EMI Music Publishing. She has been a managing director of Schubert Music Publishing in Bulgaria from the very beginning.
In addition to her role at Schubert Music Publishing, she continues to work as an attorney.
Boyana holds an LLM degree from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria, a Postgraduate Diploma on Copyright and Patents Law from Queen Mary, University of London, UK and an LLM degree in IP and Technology Law from University of San Francisco, School of Law.
