Marta gave up her career as a language teacher in 2000 to explore the world of music publishing. For the first seven years she was part of the BMG Music Publishing team, working as a copyright and royalty manager. Then, in 2007, Marta joined Schubert Music Publishing, now being responsible for the central office organization, and she also takes care of the international development of the whole Schubert Music Group.
Marta holds degrees in English Philology from Świętokrzyski University and in Journalism and Political Science from Warsaw University. She also got a Postgraduate Diploma on Copyright Law from Warsaw University.
