A gifted Polish composer and pianist, Yana Couto (Zuzanna Couto) has captivated millions with her neoclassical, minimal, film, and ambient music — artfully blending piano, acoustic instruments, electronics, and layered voices. With over 25 million Spotify streams, the artist captivates and soothes listeners with her sounds full of nostalgia, peace and sensitivity.
From choosing piano over sports at age six to composing full orchestral works, writing for film and theatre, and performing internationally, Yana Couto‘s journey has been as inspiring as her sound.
Zuzanna is a graduate of the FCUM in Warsaw and the Academy of Music in Poznań, her past mentors include the esteemed Anna Ignatowicz-Glińska, Krzesimir Dębski, and Janusz Stalmierski.
In the past few years alone, she has:
✨ Released an album The Great Hope, over ten singles & an EP Isolde,
✨ Composed for a theatre play,
✨ Written and collaborated with world-class singers,
✨ Performed in various music festivals and showcases in Poland, also completed a sold-out solo tour in Poland and Germany.
She is currently working on her third album, a score for a Danish feature film, performing in Poland and abroad, and collaborating with other artists.
