The Nexilis label, founded by Schubert Music Europe GmbH at the end of 2021, is expanding its artist roster.
Next signing is the US band The Bellwether Syndicate, whose new album “Vestige & Vigil” will be released in April 2023.
The first single “Dystopian Mirror” will be released already this year on August 5.
The Bellwether Syndicate is the band of William Faith (Rozz Williams’ Christian Death, Shadow Project, Mephisto Walz etc.), he himself should be known to the followers of dark sounds mainly through the band Faith And The Muse, founded by him and Monica Richards. Already in 2012 – after his move to Chicago — he then founded The Bellwether Syndicate; together with his wife Sarah Rose Faith a.k.a. DJ Scary Lady Sarah, well-known for her excellence at the turntables. A first EP called “The Night Watch” was released in 2013.
The repertoire focus of the new label Nexilis is on the still steady-going music segments Alternative and Dark Rock, but the targeted bandwidth also extends to adjacent musical sectors, via various electronic styles – from Synth-Pop to Industrial – to the Metal area. The aim is to deliberately avoid traditional pigeonholing and to create an open platform for artists outside the mainstream.
