Unique Records (Duesseldorf/Germany), founded in 1988 by Henry Storch, is now part of Schubert Music Europe GmbH (Telfs/Austria) and becomes part of the newly founded, international label structure which is being distributed by The Orchard.
In 2018, the 30th anniversary of Unique Records was overshadowed by the sudden death of founder and label boss Henry Storch. With the sale of the label to Schubert Music, another chapter of the legendary Düsseldorf label begins. Together with Andreas Schubert and Tino Stoschek, Henry Storch founded Unique Musikverlags GmbH in 2004, which is administered worldwide by Schubert Music Publishing.
Ina Schulz will not only continue to manage the business of Unique Records as the responsible Label Head, but will also take on the role of Head of International Product Management for Schubert Music Records (SMR) with the labels Restless Records, Pump It Suzi, Costa Futuro, Atlantic Curve, LMK Jam, Freakwave, Mirabella Musik, Bruit Blanc and SMILE.
