The music of Isla de Caras has an aloof abstraction that’s almost addictive. From Buenos Aires, Lautaro Cura (the man behind the Project) leaves us a sound proposal that floats in time and space, stuffing it with images and pop motifs. Low fi, soul and chillwave come together in this slow motion party that is Isla de Caras. Now, we start to come across the releases that will be part of their next LP (Costa Futuro in 2021), that will end up stirring up our endorphins!

Su Carita is “a song that combines the downtempo pulse and melancholy of Blues, with the internet speed, a street saxophonist practicing scales, a cereal advertisement from the 80s and even the famous lion of the Metro -Goldwyn-Mayer ”. All well shaken, harmonized and balanced, giving rise to an interesting musical cocktail, the second preview of his new album that will be released in the coming months.
