Schubert Music Publishing office in Spain was set up back in 2011 by Andreas Schubert and Marta Zgrzywa, who believed there was no other territory in Europe that literally lives the music and where the variety of styles, genres and blend of local musical flavors is so amazing. After all these years, it is still being developed in terms of local repertoire, but with regard to sub-published and administered catalogues, it grows considerably each year and we are proud to represent quite a few important catalogues there.
Since 2013, the company has been managed by Josep Gomez, a member of legendary Spanish group Los Manolos who, back in the 90’s topped the national charts and was invited to perform at the Closing Ceremony of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. In 2019 this role was taken over by Sebastián Ruiz-Tagle, who runs not only the Spanish office but is also responsible for establishing exchange channels and finding development opportunities for music between Europe and the Latin American region.
