Schubert Music Publishing S.L.

c/ Noguera Pallaresa 59-61 Local
08014 Barcelona / Spain

Schubert Music Publishing office in Spain was set up back in 2011 by Andreas Schubert and Marta Zgrzywa, who believed there was no other territory in Europe which literally lives the music and where the variety of styles, genres and blend of local musical flavors is so amazing.

After all these years it is still being developed in terms of local repertoire but with regards to sub-published and administered catalogues it grows considerably each year and we are proud to represent quite a few important catalogues there.

Since 2013, the company was managed by Josep Gomez, a member of legendary Spanish group Los Manolos who, back in the 90’s topped the national charts and were invited to perform at the Closing Ceremony of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. In 2019 this role was taken over by Sebastián Ruiz-Tagle who runs not only Spanish office but is also responsible for establishing exchange channels and finding development opportunities for music between Europe and the Latin American region.

Tagua Tagua

Tagua Tagua is the project of the brazilian composer Felipe Puperi. From tropicalist psychedelia, and the influence of figures from Brazil’s funk and soul, Tagua Tagua has approached indie from a new, fresh and colorful perspective. An inspired musical journey where we find sinuous melodies and dreamlike timbres in equal parts, creating an always surprising and moving landscape.

Isla de Caras

The music of Isla de Caras has an aloof abstraction that’s almost addictive. From Argentina, the band commanded by Lautaro Cura leaves us a sound proposal that floats in time and space, stuffing it with images and pop motifs. Low fi, soul and chillwave come together in this slow motion party.

Mula

Form Dominican Republic and heirs of the caribbean oral tradition, MULA’s songs are short stories set to music as chronicles of romances or other powerful experiences.Through passages full of mysticism and a certain magical naturalism, they build a futuristic fantasy, a science fiction story that emerges without barriers from the warm caribbean landscapes.

Queralt Lahoz

The music of the spanish artist Queralt Lahoz is crossed by latin, street and urban sounds: soul, hip hop, trap and dancehall dialogue naturally and gracefully over an aura of coplas and boleros that emerge spontaneously in a kind of  irrepressible revelation of her flamenco origins and her personal landscapes. She rests on her tradition,  relies on the genealogy of the working women in her life and in her suburban childhood, to draw a flowery bridge between past, present and future, which gives her music an unmistakable character.
