Schubert Music Publishing Hungary has long been at the forefront of the publishing business in Hungary. Started in 2003 by Andreas Schubert and Gusztav Stiedl, the company quickly grew to be widely recognizable among the local writers and authors. Five years later Ildiko Falus joined the company as sync specialist establishing a close relationship with the media and creative industries.

Today the SMP Hungary is made up of two additional people: Agnes Krieg, dealing with most copyright and royalty issues in the office, and Arpad Szarvas who takes care of production music (library) repertoire we represent for the territory of Hungary, being also engaged in the development of SMP latest venture, Schubert Music Library in cooperation with our French colleagues.

All together, they stand for a team of people with a great deal of professional experience and passion, offering the highest quality of versatile services.

Rita Csányi

Rita started her songwriting career in 2013 in London. She studied at ICMP where she had the opportunity to work and learn from her mentors who are some of the UK’s best songwriters. Her first album was supervised by Gerrard O’Connell and Jason O’Bryan and two songs from this album (In The Dark and Clouds of Smoke) had massive success later on in Hungary. Her main genre is pop music but she has been experimenting with different genres throughout the years. Therefore she’s very comfortable writing for other artists in various styles. Her workflow is fast and precise. She loves adding those really catchy vocal hooks and riffs to her songs that make something sound like a real hit.

SOMA SASHEGYI

Soma is currently the music producer and keyboard player of The Anahit. He has a really good taste for mixing electronic and live sounds which makes him a really unique producer in the Hungarian music industry. He loves experimenting with different genres and creating unique song structures. During the last few years he’s been working with upcoming artists in numerous projects as music producer. In these projects his main job is to bring his client’s songs to life by adding new instruments, creating arrangements and finishing the song with mixing and mastering.
